As the term comes to an end, Carols Around the Tree brings the term to a festive end.

Blockley Win
Blockley romp home as winners of the cluster event.
Next, the regional finals in Cirencester at the end of January.
A massive well done to all the competitors.
All the children demonstrated sports values and were great ambassadors for the school.

K'nex Challenge Winners

Following the judging by the apprentices from GE Aviation two winners were chosen.
It was a hard decision, however a winning team was selected to represent Blockley Primary School in the County Finals in 2016.

Cross Country
Blockley School Sport Report: Chipping Campden School Cross Country
Blockley School did amazingly on Wednesday 11th November when the weather was perfect for the event; moderate temperature and only a slight breeze. In the Team category (overall as a school) we came joint 3rd in the Boys Years 5 & 6, 2nd in Boys Years 3 & 4 and 1st in the Girls Years 5 & 6. Also, individually in the Girls Years 5 & 6 we had Tiree Dunn in 3rd place and Rosa Bottrill in 2nd. Well done to everyone who took part.
Watch out for the Moreton Fire College race in the new year.

Healthy Eating and Diabetes
Today we had a special assembly all about being healthy.
We know about balanced diets.
We have learnt about diabetes and how it can impact the lives of diabetics.
We have talked about what is good and what is bad, as well as what we can do to help diabetics.
